Anthony “AJ” Wilson II is the Principal Strategist and CEO of Cedar Hill, where he leads a talented advisory firm dedicated to building elite support systems for athletes, entrepreneurs, and forward-thinking brands. With a sharp focus on strategic communications, brand positioning, and long-term value creation, AJ brings a rare blend of policy insight, narrative mastery, and business acumen to every client engagement.

AJ draws on over 13 years of experience in federal public affairs and congressional relations, where he served as a trusted communications and governmental affairs advisor for senior leadership at the U.S. Department of Agriculture. He played a key role in preparing cabinet secretaries and senior federal officials for congressional testimony on Capitol Hill, while crafting speeches, talking points and strategic messaging aligned with agency priorities. Known for his ability to distill complexity into clarity, AJ became a go-to architect of building trust with words in critical moments.

Before entering public service, AJ began his career in private sector marketing as an associate for Chick-fil-A, gaining early insights into brand loyalty, customer experience, and operations. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from North Carolina Central University, where he was also a shortstop on the Division I baseball team—an experience that continues to inform his leadership, discipline, and team-first mentality.
